The 12 renovated dwellings of the Castello di Gabiano are set within an estate of over 260 hectares,
surrounded by landscape features of rare beauty: the amphitheater-like vineyards encircled by the Alps,
the meanders of the Po River, and the monumental boxwood maze all serve as the backdrop for a journey through time and within,
exploring the Monferrato region in a secret and well-preserved Italy.
"Castello di Gabiano", situated in the Piedmont Region of north-west of Italy, boasts more than a century of history.
In the 8th century, the document signed by Carlo Magno already testify the presence of a "Cortem magnam nominam Gabianam".
Our Restaurant was born out of a dream: a deep desire to cherish the thousand-year history of Gabiano Castle and offer the opportunity to enjoy local cuisine while immersing oneself in the beauty of the vineyards and the loops of the Po River.
The Castle's wine shop is where guests can taste and buy the wines of the estate, as well as an interesting selection of local delicacies.
The annexed tasting room, overlooking the vineyards, is the ideal location where to organize in-depth wine tastings, events and meeting.
