The Castle of Gabiano is a fascinating evidence of Piedmont History of XI century which, from the highest hill of Monferrato overlooking the Po river, dominates the surrounding landscape.

Also this year it offers to its visitors an exciting tour to discover one of the oldest and best preserved historical dwellings of Monferrato.

The itinerary will have, as meeting point, the Wine shop. The guided tour will start visiting the “Monviso” tower, located in the heart of the Medieval Village and will continue through the ancient cellars, till reaching the inside of the Castle, the Armoury rooms and the “Altana” tower with its breathtaking view for a photographic stage. 

After that it will be possible to continue the path indipendently, with a walk in the historical Castle Park and the labyrinth.

Guided tour of the Medieval Village and ancient cellars, followed by a wine tasting of 2 glasses of the winery production.

Combined with the tour, for both Saturday and Sunday, the possibility to enjoy lunch and dinner at the “3 Orologi” restaurant born in the old vinegar cellar and located in the heart of the Medieval Village, will give you the chance to appreciate our Chef Irina’s cuisine with her delicious menus prepared using the vegetables garden and orchards products, paired with meat and cheese from the nearby local country farms.

The proposals with table service are:
• 5 course tasting menu: Euro 60,00 per person, drinks not included.
• Classic 3-course menu: Euro 45,00 per person, drinks not included.
